DSSL Group Access Control Systems are designed and installed to a very high Commercial Standard. Full system sub-assembly is carried out in our workshops and carefully checked, inspected and tested before delivery to site. On site installation is carried out by our own team of qualified specialist engineers with a full and detailed quality inspection being carried out prior to system commissioning.

Control of access can be provided through a number of different technologies. These may include; plastic key fobs; cards which either swipe or wave in front of a reader; key type readers which require physical contact which also include biometrics in order to gain entry through fingerprint scanning. Touchless is currently the most popular form used in industry, which would include fobs and cards. Due to low cost design and reliability they make a fantastic option for most companies.

All businesses, whether small, medium or large, have assets that need to be protected from theft. There is also the issue of protecting staff and their property. It is common in buildings that are secured by locks and keys for doors to be left unlocked all day this opens up the possibility of opportunist theft and malicious damage.

Electronic access control provides the most efficient and convenient way of securing both your building and assets. Installing an access control system means that you will never have to change a lock again. Tokens are issued to allow access through the controlled doors, and these tokens are easily barred from the system if they are lost, stolen or just not returned by someone who leaves your company. Barred tokens will not allow access through the controlled doors.

Once an access control system is installed, all doors controlled by the system will automatically lock when the door is closed. Anyone without a PIN or access token is unable to enter. If necessary doors may be set to unlock during a designated time frame.

DSSL Group also provides a web-based access control solution starting at four doors. With two available enclosure options to choose from you can select the features and capabilities best suited for each installation.

The user-friendly design makes it simple to install and easy to operate and maintain. and gives you all the benefits of traditional access control such as helping you; secure your doors; manage employee access; and manage sites remotely. It also lets you produce reports easily to meet compliance requirements. With a browser-based interface your learning curve and training time are significantly decreased. And you don't have to have a dedicated PC—simply log on and you're ready to go, securely from the office or anywhere.

Web based Access Control has been developed with an installer-friendly design that easily adapts to existing IT infrastructure and methods. This means reduced installation and support cost. Its superior scalability means you can purchase the exact amount of access control you need now—and add doors later as business needs change.

In the case of the larger and more complex system, a System Design Engineer/Project Manager is allocated to the contract to supervise the project to its satisfactory completion and to provide a specific customer contact fully familiar with the project at all times.
DSSL Group has a firm and committed policy in regard to Quality Assurance of all aspects of our operations. Whilst retaining a commercial approach in terms of providing cost-effective installations and solutions to our client's needs, we never undertake to provide or carry out any work that fails to meet our high minimum standards of engineering quality. At all stages of every installation programme, a series of checks and inspections ensures that the completed system fulfils our criteria for a correctly designed and installed system.

In order to be approved for use every item of equipment employed by the DSSL Group has to be endorsed as being of suitable performance and manufactured quality by our own independent assessments.
Apart from rigorous tests to specifications carried out in our own workshop we undertake to work in partnership with suppliers to ensure appropriate quality of manufacture, testing and built-in procedures are adopted. Furthermore this process is backed up by our ensuring that; a fully effective after-sales and service facility is available to support our Warranty and Service contract obligations; and that spare parts are available for the necessary periods.

In the case of imported equipment, we investigate the appropriate agent or importer, to satisfy ourselves that there is sufficient technical product knowledge, financial and service support, to ensure all necessary support is available.
